Temple City is centrally located in the west San Gabriel Valley, approximately five miles southeast of Pasadena and 13 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. The community is predominantly residential with two major commercial arterials (Las Tunas Drive and Rosemead Boulevard) and a downtown district.

Current and Future Development
Camellia Square, a 80,000+ square foot retail development, is scheduled to open early 2015; it is located at the northeast corner of Rosemead Boulevard and Las Tunas Drive. Olson Homes is in the process of constructing 74 detached and attached single family residences at the City's south border, the project name is Linden Walk. The first occupants are scheduled to move in before the end of the 2014.
