The DoT site is 221 W. Troy, currently a city-owned parking lot at W. Troy and Allen Street, behind Rosie O'Grady's in Downtown Ferndale.
A preliminary Planned Unit
Development Approval has been achieved for a mixed-use parking deck, featuring
approximately 400 parking spaces; 15K SF of commercial space at the street
level; 39K SF of office space on the 4th and 5th floors; and a residential
component of approximately 24 units. The project will also incorporate the
redevelopment of Troy Street as a barrier free shared street concept that can
be temporarily closed for neighborhood events, and a pedestrian-oriented alley
at the rear.
