District Description

The City of Fayetteville, NC has assembled approximately 9 acres of developable land at Gillespie and Blount Streets near its Historic Downtown Core area. Re-platting and re-zoning efforts are underway, and a conceptual land use and infrastructure plan for the master-planned Business Park, along with Deed Restrictions and Protective Covenants are being developed to insure compatible, high-quality, light industrial and office/HQ uses. An anchor tenant is tentatively committed for the corner of Gillespie and Blount and will construct a 2-story, 15,000 sq. ft. headquarters/office for a defense contractor. Within 10 minutes access to Interstate 95; Fort Bragg; and Fayetteville Regional Airport  the site is ideal for military and defense-related contractors as well as light industrial manufacturers, assemblers and R&D shops.
