There’s something about this stretch of Tennyson St in the
Berkeley district of North Denver that gives it a small town, “main street”
feel. There’s a rich tapestry of dining, pubs, coffee, art galleries,
health and wellness stores/services, and one-of-a-kind retail offering gifts
and treats like tea, chocolates, and small batch liquor. Or maybe it’s the
legendary music store, family owned and operated since 1951. Streetscape
improvements in recent years added visual appeal, and the area’s vibrant setting
for artists and galleries for urban collectors has evolved into the Tennyson
Street Cultural District and its own “First Friday” festivities. On any day,
Tennyson is ideal for strolling and discovering treasures and friends, new and
old.
