Multi-story, mixed-use development envisioned for the site. Development within the Eighth Street Corridor area should maximize waterfront opportunities and connect to the Traverse Area Recreation and Transportation Trails system. Buildings should be located at or near the sidewalk and front property line. Parking should be provided in the rear of the building if possible, and a mix of uses is encouraged. Building height of 2–5 stories is sought.
