Site Description

The property (APN 060-170-096) is a 1.86-acre site (map is outdated on Oppsite which states .83-acre site*), located on the west side of Woodlake, parallel to highway 216 / Naranjo Blvd. The zoning for the property is Neighborhood commercial, with a planned development to the neighboring south parcel which has been tentatively mapped to be Greenwood Subdivision (example in photo 3). Across the street to the north of the property there is a church. Directly to the neighboring east parcel of the property there is a currently redeveloped commercial property. The following parcels to the east of the currently redeveloped commercial property are a currently developed Auto Zone and Dollar General. Woodlake is a city in Tulare County, and is situated in the north-central section of the county at the intersection of State Routes 216 and 245. The community is nestled at the base of the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains in the heart of California's citrus region. Woodlake lies some 16 miles northeast of Visalia, 54 miles southeast of Fresno, and 169 miles north of Los Angeles. While the Central Valley has long been overshadowed by the major metropolitan ares of Southern California and the Bay Area, it is now the fastest growing section of California and is a rich agricultural region that is often referred  to as the "bread basket of the world".
