The City of Oakland seeks proposals to bring new
life to the historic Montclair fairy tale firehouse.
A Notice of Development Opportunity (NODO)
has been released for the two adjacent parcels at
6226 Moraga Ave., Oakland, CA 94611. The
City is requesting proposals to develop either one
or both parcels. Proposals can be in the form of a
purchase, lease, or any other type of agreement.
The northern parcel (Parcel A) is about 23,884 sf.
It is generally unimproved except for a storage shed
and a small paved area to park a handful of cars.
The southern parcel (Parcel B) is about 15,652 sf.
Both parcels are upsloping toward the rear.
Parcel B is the site of the historic Montclair
Firehouse also known as the old Fire Station #24.
The firehouse is about 3200 sf with the garage.

the Real Estate Asset Management Division at
