Local Description

The investment the State put into SunRail and the City's contribution with a wonderful station is attracting developers. There are currently 2 major residential projects. The first is a 100+ unit 55 and over apartment complex and the second is a 208 unit apartment complex going east of the station. These parcels are part of the TOD and the County and City are motivated to partner in a private - public project that can continue the enhancements to this area. Currently the Longwood Station has the highest number of cyclists using our station than any of the other 16 stations. Sitting just east of the Historic District and its events such as the monthly car show, annual crafts show, the Longwood Green Market.
