Flat, undeveloped site located in northeast Galt. Currently designated as office, but City would also consider retail, mixed-use, or multi-family uses (with necessary land use/zoning amendments).
Site is flat and clear. All utilities located within adjacent streets. Located in the heart of large residential community. An 1,800-unit development is in the planning phase in the northeast area of the City (expected to be entitled in mid-2015, with construction beginning late 2015). The Wilton Rancheria casino project, located in the northwest portion of the City's sphere, is in the environmental analysis stage of the planning process, with an expected construction start date in 2018-2019. Although zoned for office uses, City staff will consider applications to amend land use/zoning of site to allow for retail, mixed-use or multi-family (i.e., senior) development instead.
